I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that despite growing awareness, Autistic and Neurodiverse individuals continue to face exclusion, misunderstanding, and barriers in nearly every area of life, often lacking access to inclusive social experiences, in communities that may lack the knowledge and tools to support them meaningfully, while many families feel isolated and unsupported, especially in underserved or rural areas, I knew I had to help.
That's why I created a fundraiser to support Autism Society Greater Hudson Region. Their campaign to provide more free or low-cost training opportunities in all 21 counties, regular supportive social programming for all age groups, increased safety and inclusion in every corner of the community will Build connections, Promote acceptance, Empower Autistic and Neurodiverse people, Support families and caregivers, Educate professionals and peers, and Make the Hudson Region a place where everyone belongs.—and you can be a part of it.
