Welcome to the Autism Swims Aquatics Program ticket page. To register your child for ASAP lessons, please purchase a ticket on this page prior to the first scheduled lesson of the session. Thank you for your interest in water safety and drowning prevention lessons through ASGHR and ASAP. *****If the class is full, you'll be notified of the next class for sign up.
ASAP 2025 Details
- When: 4 Consecutive Sundays, 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Where: Bethlehem Middle School, 322 Kenwood Ave. Delmar, NY 12054

Cost: $100 for 4 half-hour lessons
Scholarships may be available for families in need. If affordability is a concern, please email mkavaney@asghr.org.
Each session has limited availability, with 30-minute slots assigned by the program lead. We maintain an active waitlist and encourage you to reach out for more information about upcoming sessions.
Many children on the spectrum have a natural affinity for water. The sensory aspects of swimming—the soothing feel of water, the calming rhythm of movement—make it an ideal activity for neurodiverse children. However, the statistics are sobering: children on the spectrum are at a much higher risk of drowning than their neurotypical peers. That’s why swim safety and lessons are so essential.
